When I got induced they inserted a very small pill in my cervix, couldn't even feel it and they had to break my water, I was in labor for 12 hrs so I highly highly recommend the epidural, I didn't feel a thing ! And I enjoyed every second of the birthing process, before I got my epidural I was in horrible pain, I'd rather get ran over by a car ten times before having to feel that , it hurt so bad that you can't even think strait so I highly recommend the epidural lol that way you can enjoy it, I only had my husband and doctor and a nurse in there it was very quiet very sweet experience. It was amazing

Its been a year since I was induced but its not bad. They check to see how much your dilated and if your dilating slow the they give you pertussin to speed up your dialation. It doent hurt. Your contractions will increase. Pretty much its speeding up you and your baby's stay at the hospital.  You can go home after 2-3 days and your baby too.

I was induced at 37 weeks. If I'm giving the option this time I'll definitley do it again.. I enjoyed knowing once I got there I wasn't leaving till baby was with me.. in az they call you between midnight and 6 a.m and tell you to come..I arrived at 1 a.m they signed me in and then took me to the room did vitals and all that fun stuff. Then started an iv at 6 a.m they just inserted some gel and its supposed to thin you out and sometimes put you in labor..30 min later contractions started..so they let me get in the big bath and by 2 p.m they were coming stronger so then they did my epidoral and started me on pitocin I was at a 5 for the longest time then all of a.sudden she came in and said push! I only pushed for 20 min...seemed like a lifetime but he was born by 6:51 p.m! They didn't expect me to.deliver until the next day. But all in all it was pretty easy and went by fast contractions didn't really start bothering me until about 2 p.m so I wasn't in pain long. Congrats & I hope you have a great delivery:)
