With my son some tales definitely gave the suprise away.

Heartbeat: my sons heartbeat, although it wasnt below 140 as the tale said his heartbeat rarely ever passed 150. Where my friends who had girls were always 180.

Acne: Now they do say girls steal beauty. But seriously all of my friend who had boys BROKE OUT including myself! Pizza face city! Those who had girls had smooth skin.

Foods: Girls like sweets. Boys are salty and dairy. I swear i could care less for a cake. Even the frosting was undesirable. But a bowl of cereal or straight up meat, beef, real hearty foods. I would sit and indulge :).

Carry: I AM all in the front and low like a basketball. Just like the tale. I didnt spread wide like those who carry girls.

I was thinking there still might b a chance of a girl. But nope lol. Does n e one want to share there gender reveal coincidences or story. I would love to hear. Or what do u think ur baby will b due to some of the coincidences.

I'm having a boy and he's always had a fast heartbeat. I am also carrying him kinda high. This is my second boy. That might make a difference.

My baby's heart rate is never over 140 unless she's awake and active. I only crave sweets! My skin was clear in the beginning but I'm 38 weeks and my forehead is breaking out like a teenager going through puberty! Also idk if my baby has hair yet but I had killer heartburn just like with my last pregnancy and my baby came out with no hair so I'll see soon if my baby girl has hair or not!

Another thing about the wives tale was more about the law of attraction. Little girls liked my belly. Boys could care less but little girls... One time a young girl even put her hand up my shirt subconsciously and an older woman said i think your having a boy. The girls love you.

I just hope it also is a sign of how handsome he will be <33

My skin was NOT perfect, I ate ribs and fajitas and barbecue, LOVED tomato sauce, pickles and beer salts. And I had a girl!

Lol above. For kate dont feel too bad about the size every mom says they carried bigger w. Their second. I actually know someone just like u dnt sweat it i wonder what ur having??

My baby boys heart beat ranges from 150-160. I dont crave salty things ive been craving really sweet things. Also im caring all in the front, but im carrying high not low. People who see me ask if im having a girl, and of course i say no. Some even ask me if im sure, so then ill show them my ultrasound where you can clearly tell its a boy. Haha

I'm having my second child and its not the same at all. My daughter heart beat was always very high, broke out and only wanted candy and junk like that. My second baby I'm three months along, I feel sick, baby is so low and its heart beat it 170 to 175 each time. I'm not breaking out and can't really eat candy. People ask me if I'm about to pop cause I'm so big or ask me if theirs more than one. I ask the doctors the same thing on why am I so big already and they keep telling me its not the baby I'm just fat when I'm not.

Another wives tale that i forgot to mention that wound up being true is the law of attraction.
Since im having a boy i would have to beg my fiance for affection!! Hes not a complete douch but when i could say jerk/just cold... seriously i would sit in bed n he wouldnt turn over for affection at all. Just stay on Clash of Clans.

But they say when a man is having a little girl he is all over the mama!!

Made me wish i was having a girl sometimes :p

I'm having a boy. I did break out it's depressing. My baby's heartbeat is something like 155. I crave sweets sometimes but also hearty foods but my bump isn't low

Same exact symptoms as up there & I'm having a boy :) but I threw up my whole first and half of my second trimester most people say with that it's a girl but I don't believe that anymore because well its been proven its a boy. Lol

I'm having a girl - she definitely stole my beauty haha! Break outs and greasy Hair :(  also her heartbeat is usually in the high 140s. I am carrying high but not spread wide?! Ha I've only put 13lbs on and I'm 36+6 :) at least my nails and Hair have grown haha!

Awe.. i guess its diff for everone :) congrats. But yea that glow i think only last the second tri. Because my first trimester my jerk head bd kept wanting to pop my zits or even count them >:[ lol lol. @Angel im surprised ur daughters heartbeat is so low. I guess shes chilling in there :))

My daughters heart beat is around 140's. I also broke out really bad. My mother in law still swears I am carrying a boy, but at my 20 week scan her legs were wide open and there was no doubt she is a girl. I personally don't believe in wives tales. I only have 41 days til my due date. Ftm and am very excited for the arrival of my daughter.

My looks definitely declined, my hair grew and thickened on my head, I was extremely sick in the first trimester, I carry very high and wide, my skin is flawless never had 1 breakout, I've gained a whopping 90 lbs, my baby's heartbeat always ranged from 165-155, my cravings vary from week to week and I'm having a little boy :) Everyday people ask am I having twins.
