Heyy im ash, I dont know either im a ftm to be and I have had a chronik fear of birth, im definitely going epidural from the beginning as recommended by many of my friends. I have a fairly good pain tolerance but im terrified. I have been told an epidural would be best for me, may slow down my labour and birth but the pain would be dramatically easier to deal with. Do you think you would rather a long labour with lesser pain or shorter birth but all the pain possible? I have thought about it alot
If I try to do it the birth way & I can't will they do a emergency c-section then? I'm juat really scared I won't be able to handle the pain & stuff
I had a csection and was "normal" at 3 weeks. But until the 3 weeks I was in a lot of pain. Infection and incision ripped open. The 1st week I couldn't do anything cuz they put the epidural in too far and gave me a spinal headache which only felt better when laying down or having cafiene.
My c section was 2.5 weeks ago n I'm back normal already even shocked my doctor lol
I had a c section n was up walking around the next day walking and staying active helps just don't over do it but u usually only have a c section if its an emergency they try vaginally first I had the epidural too n it was wonderful I couldn't handle the contractions after they gave me the pitocin but I ended up needing an emergency c section
I think it depends on the person. My cousin has had three c-sections and she always said she felt "normal" two days after and was up and walking. And others who said it ***** and they hurt for day and days afterwards. But ive also had people who delivered some with epidural and some without and said it was good and felt like themselves afterwards and some hated it and hurt for weeks. So I think it just depends on the person!
c section hurts more after the fact my friend had one and said it sucked i had vaginal with no epidural. but i might get an epidural this time if i need it but gope to not :-)
