working

Ok so yesterday I went to work and was told I was not allowed to sit down unless I'm working at the same time.  I work at a service station and all I do is clean and do all the preparation for the next day, so sitting down while cleaning deep fryers is impossible.  I'm only 24 weeks pregnant but I'm not exactly small,  my feet hurt alot my little man likes sitting low and that gets uncomfortable and I'm just always exhausted so I need to sit down. I ended up having a break down and quit,  on the way home I had a panic attack.  I've been getting stressed at work because I do majority of the work while the boss sits around with her boyfriend!  Did I do the right thing by leaving?  My partner didn't want me working anyway

You should have gotten a note from your doctor that said you needed to sit. They would have to let you, legally
