Perfect description @ericatoday. That's how I remember mine the both times. I didn't even have to push I just remember it sliding out. :)
I ment to agree with **ericatoday**
^ that's what I would say! You don't even feel the placenta come out my drs never even told me when they pulled it out. I've had two kids.
My boyfriend's mum said she was so drugged up on meds when she had my bf that she didnt even know she'd delivered her baby lmao. Her husband was feeding baby and when she was pushing out the placenta shouting: whose baby is that you can't feed someone elses baby!"
I'm going to tell you exactly what it felt like. Having the baby was awful but as soon as the baby comes out it feels amazing then what they do is pull out the placenta you hardly feel a thing it slides right out it felt like they pulled out a huge jello mold. So don't worry about it.
It's tons easier than baby! A little scary to have to push again but it's quick and easy. Some docs/midwives will put traction in it so it comes out faster, some actually pull with the cord to get it to come out. Either way it is quick and mostly pain free.
My mom said you push it out like you push out your baby. And it hurts the same. Or if you get the epidural, it feels the same as delivering the baby with an epidural.
