would yu?

So my husband is in Afghanistan and he hasn't really been able to be apart of buying things for our son...he ordered him a onsie and I got it in the mail today(I didn't know he ordered it) it says daddys little squirt on it with tadpoles its from spencers... its funny but I dont really think its appropriate for a baby to wear... would yu put yer child in something like that? I feel like people would look at it and judge me as a mother and I didn't even know he got it

I had the same thing happen , my boyfriend got a onsie from Spencer's and it had a cuss word, and I felt bad cause he was happy he bought it and so i told him it wasn't appropriate (in the nicest way) and he returned it. Or you could always just let the baby wear it at home or just for your husband.

I own a tshit design company, and I make onesies similar to that. I would absolutely put my baby in that. Maybe not to a doctor or family visit, there is a time and place for everything. But I know I an going to be an amazing mom, and you will be too. I think part of being a mom is taking control and not worrying aboit the criticisms of other people ya.know? It's one thing if you don't like it, but don't decide against it just because youre worried about someone elses stupid opinion.

I think it's funny, that wouldn't really offend me at all, older women might, but who gives a crap.. now a days mohawks offend older women. As for the previous poster, I wouldn't put a onsie with a cuss word or anything, but since your hubby was probably trying to just be sweet I'd save it and maybe wear it at home if you're not comfortable.

you don't have to put baby in it to go out on public. besides the baby will grow out of it too quick, not to mention he/she will prly stain it the first time wearing it. Personally I don't find it inappropriate, just funny. Depends in the person. If it had curse words on it, I might object. Someone have me a onesie that said "tax deduction". I found that one more offensive to be honest. I don't think it's a big deal. And you learn quickly when you become a Mom that it doesn't matter what you do, someone will always have something to say about you. Just gotta know what matters.

My friend got me one that said "all I remember from last night is sucking on some ti*ties and *****ing myself" and I think it's hilarious. I would absolutely let my child wear it. It depends on what YOU like and not everyone else.

I think jessica is rite. U can always have ur baby wear it when ur hubby is around. Or since he is in Afghanistan u can take a pic of ur baby and send it to him.

My family would find that shirt hilarious.
I'd put my kid in something from spencers, as long as it
wasn't too bad.
If it were swearing or being really inappropriate, I probably
would return it, but it seems alright to me.

I think people are just way too judgemental of pregnant women, and mothers. Honestly it makes me crazy. So anytime someone says something rude or nasty I have started replying "Oh look, another persons opinion that I didn't ask for and doesn't matter." It really does the job, the same way rubbing someones belly back when they rub mine randomly does. I beieve in the golden rule. So being rude towards me usually mirrors how I will respond to a person.

Well screw them, it isn't anyones business but yours. People are awful, you just gotta take everything with a grain of salt, and keep that pretty head up. You will be awesome!

Haha yourstruly, I know it's a bit "vulgar" but everyone that knows me knows that I'm very outspoken and quite the comedian so I wouldn't think twice about putting my child in something like that.lol

I didn't even think of it as offensive at all until you pointed it out. I got 3 VERY offensive Indies at my baby shower. "Daddy used to get some before I came along" "too cute to play with your ugly *** kid" and "9 months trying to escape the p***y, a lifetime trying to get back in"...

Needless to say, they all still have the tags one them 10 months later...

I don't find daddy's lil squirt nearly as offensive.

If you don't think its appropriate only let the baby wear it in the house and take pics and send them to your husband so he don't get butt hurt that you didn't put the baby in what he got.
