serious question here.

I have a 1 yr old. but I'm having a baby on the 9th (c-section). my question is. do you think I should get baby sitter for the whole night so that my hubby can stay over night at the hospital with me. or do you think its unfair to my baby girl. that her parents left her for another baby should my hubby go home after to stay the night with her? . I'm just concerened about her feels, I already know she's going to hate the New baby.

I left my son with my mom for two days and plan on leaving both of my sons with my mom again so my hubby can stay with me at the hospital till I get out.

Yea don't fall into a guilt trap. My daughter is 3 and is a mommas girl but she's gonna have to stay with my mom or sister till I have her brother then she can come visit the next day. She won't remember the night you left her at a sitters house after she comes to the hospital to see the baby.

If you think she will not sleep for a sitter, id say send hubby home. But if shes just going to be sleeping, you may as well get a sitter. And dont let yourself fall into a guilt trap. Its ok to let youself focus on the new baby...you are its mom too.
