Broken R Scapula

Hi All, I was in a motorcycle accident 2 weeks ago. They did XRays and CT at ER. Then at same dr's office a week later, XRays. Doc's treatment plan is just a sling. He doesn't want to do surgery, at least at this point. Also, this Doc is quite capable of doing surgery. A friend from church had his rotator cuff worked on by the same Doc a few years ago (only found this out after talking about my injury and which Doc I was seeing). Reviews show he has done many shoulder repairs and even replacements. Dr. Dragomir Mijic, Hudson, FL. But my biggest issue is this photo I took from the CT (I added the red circle), that seems to show a misaligned bone under my shoulder joint. And wondering if that shouldn't be reduced and set with a plate or something. Any feedback would be appreciated. I hope this "community" is OK. I did not see one listed just for "Injuries" or "Broken Bones" or "Orthopedic".

Well I showed this image to my Ortho Doc, Dr. Mijic. He says that little bone that appears to be attached to the lateral side of the scapula, and the one that it looks like it should line up with, is actually one of my broken ribs, superimposed outside the scapula instead of under it.
