Brother had I131 recently. What count or mR/hr. should come from him now ?

My brother had 75 mci I131 three days ago. I have a radiation meter, but don't know how many counts per minute or mR/hr to expect when measuring outside his body. My meter is an Inspector and seems to work quite well.

Anyone here know the CPM or mR/hour ?

For 75 mci, the usual initial mR/hour is 6-10 @ one meter.

I can't give a specific range but I can say the following.  It really varies the "CPM" or mR/hour should be within safe limits but it also depends on the distance at which one measures.  The actual #'s depend on his body mass and time from which the radionuclide was administered.  It may also depend if there is any external contamination on clothes, skin.
