I am also having same symptoms after kidney stone surgery on jan 13 then appendix removed 22jan I am extremely fatigued no appetite, migraines, diarrhea and some lower right side pain. No fever though.... Why am I still feeling horrible is it because my body has just been through too much within a short period of time? Please help... I want my life back
Why not discontinue the depro-vera as an experiment and see what happens?
I am taking Levaquin for the infection and have stopped running fever. I already had lithotripsy done for a 7mm stone and have collected the stone fragments for analyzing. The main problem now that I am having is the recurring migraine headaches, dilated eyes, severe nausea, shortness of breath, very rapid heart rate, and flu-like symptoms-aches. Could this be hormonal? I have been on Depo provera for 6 years and have not had a period the entire time. These symptoms aren't related to the surgery...they all were happening prior. What do you think it could be?
Hello LG0526,
You are having two conditions simultaneously which need different treatment plan. Control of infection would need a course of the next generation antibiotics like ertapenam or cilastatin or meropenam antibiotics. That would control and cure the infection. The treatment of renal stones would need surgery or lithotripsy based on the size of the stone. Smaller sized stones are preferably treated with lithotripsy. Drink plenty of fluied that would help in the flushing out of the stones.
Take care.
