If you have history of GERD or Gastroesophageal reflux disease, this may be related in some way. A referral to a gastroenterologist may help clear this out. While it is true that antibiotic could lead to harm in more ways than one, it has been very useful in treating bacterial infections. Indeed, you are still young, and you have so much in store for you. Do not let the unknown stop you from learning. Be vigilant with your health and stay positive always. Discuss with your attending physician the working diagnosis and your management plan. Take care always.
Thanks :)! I know spicy foods and caffeine can make one irritable. But I'm sure it's not that. I've told these things to my doctors, but they dispute it like nothing is wrong. I can tell you though, that it began 7 years ago. I was in perfect health, i could eat anything. I was very energetic and very smart. It came out of the blue, one morning i had nausea.. the doctors gave me a lot of antibiotics for reflux. After that, almost immediately, i had all the symptoms.. foul odor, bloating, nausea.
Only recently, have read that antibiotic use, could have killed good and bad bacteria in my gut. There's a chance it has something to do with that. I also read, that after antibiotics were first made and used, a lot of new symptoms never reported came along with it. I do believe further usage of antibiotics could do more damage then good to one's health.
Im young though, I'm still learning. :p
Hi,
Thanks for the updates. There have been studies showing the effects of the food you eat, such as spicy food, to the body. Despite taking showers, the odor usually persist because there is an underlying cause. Try to identify your triggers for the hives so that you can avoid them. If your symptoms persists, it is best that you check with your doctor for proper evaluation. Antihistamine medications and topical anti-pruritics may help provide relief. Take care and do keep us posted.
I'm good, thanks how are you? I know meats have much sulfur. But if that was the problem everyone would smell bad. Which they do so they take showers. But, for me its abnormal. It appears out of nowhere, I'm fatigued.. i get spontaneous hives. I know it's not incontinence because nothing is leaking. I'm looking more into permeable colon wall, or Intestinal Permeability.. it's the only thing that makes sense right now. :(
Hi,
How are you? Are there other symptoms present such as excessive sweating? It is good that the tests done were normal. The smell can be due to the food you eat, underlying medical condition such as overactive sweat glands or hyperhidrosis. You may need to have this evaluated further for proper diagnosis.
