I need help figuring out what is causing this pain.

I've been to three different doctors and told them about these symptoms but none of them are helping me what so ever...they just kinda skirt around the issue not really bringing any sort of tests or suggestions as to what it could be. I feel very stressed out and I don't know what to do now.

I am having chest pains that come and go...and numbness and tingling in my left arm. This doesn't happen all the time, this just happens once in a while.

Does anyone have any idea of what I can tell him to check for since he can't seem to figure it out himself?I feel like I have to tell him what is wrong with me.....instead of him telling me..... Very stressed out.

I would recommend that you just go around the doctor who's not listening to you and find someone else. No sense wasting your time with someone who doesn't even listen to you, right? :)
I would specifically recommend that you see a cardiologist immediately! Explain your symptoms and any good cardiologist should know what tests to run. Chest pain and shooting pains down your arms could potentially be a sign of something quite serious and should be taken seriously by any doctor. So if one doesn't listen, just go around 'em and find someone who will!! It's your life, it's your health, and you always have the right to a second, third, fourth, or however many opinions it takes to get an answer.
Good luck! If I can be of any more help, just let me know!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
There is a chance that you have compression of the spinal nerves in the cervical spine region. This can happen due to overuse of computers, work involving straining of neck, canal stenosis, bone disease, spondylosis, poor posture etc. A few neck exercises, or chiropractors can help relieve the pain, tingling and numbness. A MRI of the cervical spine may ne required. Please consult a neurologist.
Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
