Leaky gut??

Hi, I posted a while back about these unexplained swellings that I get. I just heard of this problem called "leaky gut" It sounds like that could be the cause of my swellings. Does anyone know of this, or how to get rid of it? Any help is greatly appreciated. J

Hi,
How are you? Leaky gut syndrome is caused by damaged bowel lining which is attributed to antibiotics, toxins, poor diet, parasites or infection. This condition leads to increased permeability of the gut wall to toxins, microbes, and even undigested food. Researchers propose intake of natural anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative substances (NAIDS's), such as glutamine, N-acetyl cysteine and zinc, various dietary treatments and supplements like nystatin, B12 and probiotics. Diets include gluten-free diets, casein-free diets, antifungal diets, and low-sugar diets. Discuss this with your doctor for proper management. take care and best regards.
