Neurology Help

I am a 21 year old female with a history of Guillain Barre Syndrome which left me paralyzed at 11 after the flu. I got the flu again this May and ever since then I have had the following symptoms: Muscle Twitches I can physically see ALL OVER my body, an intense and terrifying pressure in the back of my head which I feel like I'm going to pass out and die, a heat sensation that accompanies this pressure in my head, pain going down the back of my head, down my neck, and all the way down the center of my back. Abnormal head CT, supposidly normal MRI (getting a second opinion), abnormal EMG but normal EEG. Normal and abnormal blood work. Doctors still unable to diagnose which causes me anxiety and panic attacks when I feel the symptoms which have previous been covered up with nortriptyline but which I have become immune to and the symptoms are returning. Anyone who can help decipher what the heck is going on with me...after 6 months being in the dark I would love some insight. Thank you.

Hi,
How are you? Can you elaborate on the abnormal EMG? Were you able to have your abnormal CT scan checked by your doctor or be referred to a neurologist? If you have been immune to your medication, as well as experienced the symptoms after flu, you need to inform your doctor for proper management,  Direct clinical examiantion is important. Hang on and do keep us posted.

Hi...I understand how frustrating it is  to get answers...and all that twitching  is annoying...I was having to deal with some as well and was told it was a neuro issue...my brain stem was being compressed by a condition I have...but it was that compression that caused many of the twitching and other symptoms I experienced.
Anxiety and panic can be caused by a issue with the brain stem too.

I hope u understand this is speculation on my part and I am only viewing it as a neuro  spinal  issue...

U said ur MRI was supposedly normal...if u do not feel u got all the info, request copies of all ur MRI's and the reports and I would suggest going forward doing the same ....u can easily get a second opinion when u have  this info in hand.

I hope u find that light u need
