Okay so I have been sick three times in the past month. First, I had a chest cold that kept me in bed for about 3 days. Then about 3 weeks later, I was diagnosed with an ear infection, which I've never had before. I was prescribed an antibiotic, and I took it until it was completely gone, and I felt better except that my ear was still plugged and popping. The day after my antibiotics were gone, I woke up with the weirdest feeling. It was a numbness/tingling in my skin, all over. It reminded me of when I was young and used to play in the snow, and the burning sensation I felt when I came back into a warm environment. I thought it was maybe chills at first, but I had no fever. The next day, I got a terrible headache accompanied by the skin sensation. I went to see the the doctor the next day and was told that my ear infection was not totally healed, and I also had post nasal drip. So, I was put on a different antibiotic for a longer amount of time, and I still have my fever after taking the antibiotic for three days. And the skin sensation...still there. So, I believe I have maybe a sinus infection with the post nasal drip and severe headaches of pulsing and throbbing. However, I am very worried about my skin. I've never had it before, and my doctor looked at me, just as confused as I was. I've had it for five days now. What could this be??
