Hi,
How are you? Are there other symptoms present like changes in vaginal discharge and odor? It is good that the diagnostic tests were normal and you were able to see your gynecologist. You could also benefit from another gynecologist's second opinion. It is important that the source is considered. A long history of antibiotic and oral contraceptive use may also contribute. It is also important to rule out reinfection caused by a sexual partner. Minimize exposure to irritants- chemicals and perfumes found in tampons and pads, soaps, bubble baths, detergents, lotions and toilet paper. Try also to avoid scratching to prevent secondary bacterial infection. Eating a nutritious diet and keeping the area cool and dry may also be helpful. Take care and do keep us posted.
