undiagnosed array of problems

I'm a 25 year old female and have been struggling with some bizarre and unpredictable feelings for the past 7 years.

Symptoms:
-tingling and or numb sensation of extremeties (mostly legs)
-creepy crawly feeling in legs
-cold extremeties
-twitching
-random bits of sharp pain (only last for a second)
-teeth grinding
-head pressure

The symptoms first started when I was 18 and were limited to tingling and numbness in my calves. I had an MRI at the time and it was negative. After a couple months the sensation went away. It would reappear very sporadically and rarely over the next four years. When I was 22 the sensation came back and I felt it in a longer stretch of my leg and more intensely. That lasted on and off for about a month and disappeared again for a couple years. 9 months ago the symptoms came back en masse. I started feeling the numbness/tingling in my arms. I started feeling the sensation more frequently. Since last March, I have felt a fairly steady progression of the symptoms listed. First increased numbness/tingling, then difficulty regulating my body temperature. In September I started experiencing very minor and random muscle twitches. About two months later I began feeling random sharp pains in various parts of my body. Around that time I also began grinding my teeth. And today, for the first time, I'm experiencing significant amounts of head pressure - to the point where it's difficult to read.

None of these symptoms are debilitating, but I'm worried that they will progress to that point. I've been seeing an accupuncturist for the past 4 months and taking vitamin supplements (iron, folic acid, valerin, fish oil, magnesium, and multi).

I'm hesitant to go to the doctor for a lot of tests because in the past they have had no idea where to start. I have a very very high deductible and cannot afford to pay for expensive medical tests in a wild goose chase.

Could someone please lead me in a direction?!

it could be your potassium, but make sure you are not getting too much of a certain vitamin also - I have a syrinx in my spine, and I heard magnesium can help, but my doc said no because when she tested my levels they were fine and too much is bad.  But low potassium will cause mucsle cramps and spasm, headache, fatigue, and just general crappiness!  However, if it is your potassium you should try to figure out why it is low - kidney and liver disease can cause it to be low.

good luck
