My question is simple and to the point, How do you know a man loves you besides him telling you. What does he do, how does he act and all? How do u know you mean something to him?

He would spend time with you,take you out to dinner and wine and dine you.If he was a romantic he would buy you flowers and chocolates,he would help around the house and he wouldn,t be afraid to introduce you to his friends and family.In our words if he really loved you he would do anything for you.He would move move heaven and earth for you.

I often think about how I show someone that I love them  My boyfriend likes coffee, the other day I realized when he stays at my place he has an hour drive to work and never gets up early enough to get coffee.  So, because I love him, I try my best to wake up while he's showering to make him some coffee.  Then I usually end up getting a hug and a kiss when i do it, so it's worth it.  One thing that he did that made me feel loved was when he had to go on a field trip with his daughter to the zoo he bought me a coffee cup, the cup wasn't anything special but it made me feel so good that he was thinking of me and wanted to find a way to show me he cared.  There are other things he does that I don't necessarily think it's an expression of love but I'm starting to realize that it is, one night staying at my place he took out the trash and noticed I parked in a handicapped spot on accident so he moved my car for me.  I guess the biggest thing is if I ask he will try.  (I'm noticing the asking part is very important otherwise he doesn't know what I like)

Well not everyone shows love in the same way, but many will do things for their significant other to show them that they care: buying them lunch/dinner, bringing them food, writing little notes, helping to/washing their car, driving them somewhere, spending time with them over others, being especially kind to them, texting/talking often, showing appreciation, talking highly of them, and so on.

Thanks sweetpea, and no, Its not abt my ex, just had lots of people asking me if there partners love them and i wldnt knw the reply coz wat one calls love might not be love to someone else.But pls do give me examples of those actions that show love... the small ones esp..they count the most, thanks.

Hi.  Well, I think it is hard to say how EVERY man acts when he is in love.  Every person is going to be different.  In general, you often see them rearranging their life for the person, introducing them to their friends in a special way, wanting to spend more time with them than others such as their usual buddies, being tender with them, talking about the future, etc.  

So, I see your question as one that is hard to give a definate answer to as people can all be so different.

Love is more than just words, as words are cheap, and it has to be through actions that you can see if someone loves you or not. None of it has to be extravagant or anything, and really the small, loving actions are what really show when someone cares about another. They do that by trying to make their significant other happy, never wanting to hurt them, and being there for them through everything, along with other actions. Actions speak louder than words, so if it's only him saying he loves you, then I wouldn't really say that is love. That word gets thrown around quite often, but isn't always the case.
