How to tell if he's interested

I think that this guy that works with me likes me but I can't tell for sure.   He's in his early to mid 40s and I'm in my late 20s. He goes out of his way to speak  and jokes around. It seems flirty. He's OK but I don't want to start anything cause he might be involved or has kids my age lol how can u tell without making it seem obvious

or not, i'm like special mom i would ignore it simply because i'm not that interested anyway due to age but for sure because my job would have to be my priority. -
- - say he knows the boss better /longer than you, anything happens it's you that goes before him. -- say you stay and he's talks to the men's club at work about how good or easy you were .. you know? you'se got to look after number one.

and remember, the percentage of men 40 years plus flirting with 20 something girls the same age as their real or not children is just a statistic, following up on something like this is when the sh@$#$t gets real

plus the fact that you're describing a man that's going out of his way to talk it up and laugh and flirt you, that's called smoozing or salesmanship - there's  alot of sales people in each and every business - in other words, this guys flirty behavior can be how he talks to the mail lady or the grocer - it may mean absolutely nothing while still be the reason he's got notches on his bedpost.
or it could be real etc. and make a relationship
but only you can look at all the angels and take the risks

Work place romance can be problem.  I'd avoid it if you can.  If things go bad, you still work together and it can be awkward. So, especially since you aren't really interested, just be polite and friendly but keep your distance.

Oh, he's interested in something, it's just figuring out if all he wants is a booty call that is the problem. You could test this by having your mother drop by and introducing him to her. A guy with decent intentions would be interested in meeting your family. A guy who just wants some sex would not.
