I call the guy I am talking to my teddy bear because he's cuddly :)
I LOVE Wifey and Hubby. Corny? well maybe, maybe a little, but SO sweet !!, so really, really sweet !!
and Bubbles - why do You suppose I'm not surprised at that one ??
I am SO enjoying this revealing thread! :>)
Tinkerbell and guppy are very sweet names.
So, my husband will call me wifey and Bubbles (as I can be bubbly). ha ha. All of my cards are addressed to Wifey. I'm in his cell phone as wifey. he's in mine as hubby. Corny, I know.
I have a friend that when she started dating her now husband, she had a rabbit as a pet. Somehow, she started calling her boyfriend Bunny. And he did the same to her. Well, he ended up having her engagement ring personally designed to look like a rabbit (a pear shaped diamond on it's side with smaller diamonds for head, ears and tail). I really can't look at it without kind of laughing. Her either. The bunny thing got taken a little TOO far there. They have a bit of a rocky relationship and it's been a long time since they were Bunnies to each other . . . hopefully they'll get back there. She DOES have that ring as a constant reminder that she was once his Bunny!
NurseGirl, Chicken Legs is really funny - I'm glad You explained it - but You forgot to tell us what He calls You.
and SpecialMom - Your names for Hubby are cute but You too forgot to tell us what He calls You, too.
My Husband played football in HighSchool and College and He still has the physique - I call Him "big fellow"
I'm very small in stature and He calls me......, get ready for this.......
He calls me "Tinkerbell"
and sometimes He calls me guppy.
Only when He is annoyed does He call me LeeAnn. If I'm annoyed I address Him by His Last Name - a not very common last name. It's always easy to know where We stand with Each Other
Not very imaginative for either of us, but true words of endearment.
ha ha, that is hysterical nursegirl! Chicken legs! So when he calls or texts you, it shows up as incoming from 'chicken legs'? THAT is funny!
When he's in a good mood, I call my husband honey bunch, sweet lips (that's been around for a long time . . .) and a simple 'husband' with affection.
When he is in a bad mood, it's Eeyore or the Grim Reaper. ha ha
HA!!! I love this question!
I cannot say that I CALL my hubby this, but he's been in my phone contacts this way for 15+ years..."chicken legs". HA!
His legs are very thin, disproportionately (to the rest of him). His Mom and all the women in the family have those pencil thin, bony legs...well lucky hubby, HE got them too! I always tease with him that I don't know how those legs hold him up, lol. THEN when we first got chickens and they (seriously) followed him all over the place, like he was their leader (lmao)...that pet name was even more relevant!
I know, I'm bad. I can imagine (God forbid) if I'm ever in a situation where someone needs to look through my phone for a contact to call....they will see "chicken legs" all over....calls, texts, emails...ha!
Hm, is that what someone calls you? ha ha
No, doesn't count nor does Bit$h.
That is, unless, it is said with true affection. Then anything goes.
Does pain in the a$$ count? lol
