There are plenty of nerdy girls who like stuff like this too - or have their own weird interests. Trust me. Giving up on your interests just because you think it will make you look more attractive will probably only make you miserable and resentful.
Gonna be honest. For me, I'd not be very interested in someone who watched pokemon. Or was super into video games. Especially iff it is done in excess and the person also doesn't have any other interests I find compelling. But that is me and we are all individual. Others may feel differently. But, Those things are also less social. If you want to be around people, join an intermural sport, join a club, volunteer, get out around people. Are you an introvert? Any anxiety being around other people?
I have a son that works very hard and is an over achiever with a very busy schedule. He does unwind by vegging out with video games. Of course, he's 12. But . . . maybe he'll never outgrow it. But maybe he'll still be at it at 24. I'd be concerned if he spent MUCH time doing it or if that is all he did for entertainment. At 12 or at 24.
Not sure if that answered your question. You have a right to like what you like--- and some girls will like it and others won't.
