Do I need antibiotics ?

Have had this very irritable, barking cough for over a week, which requires constant lubrication and a bad taste in my mouth. I'm not really coughing up phlegm. My throat also feels very inflamed. I've lost my appetite since aswell. I take lots of vitamin c and antihistamine and have even tried a prentative inhaler. Itakes me feel very tired, after coughing alot and trying to stop myself at work was so bad I had to ring in sick, as I have to serve fresh food on pizzas

Sounds like GERD! Acid reflux can come up and as it comes up the throat you can cough.  Then the acid backs up into the mouth.
