Help clear lung issues

2 pulmonologists at 2 different hospitals have told me that my lungs are fine. Is there anything that they could have missed? I had x-rays done, stethoscopes applied to my chest and back, EKG wires attatched, and I even had a CT angiogram done before in the ER, which I 90% trust (towards the end of the examination I had a very severe reaction to the iodine contrast). Is there anything else that they can check? They say my lungs are fine. Where could they have gone wrong, if they did?

I do struggle to hold a breath, and I'm horrible in keeping a deep breath for a long period of time. 8 months ago I was able to do both with no problem. My main pain started at an area on my right-side rib. I have seen all of the other doctors, so I want to focus on the lungs in case something was missed. I am 24, don't smoke or drink, and I'm not even close to overweight. Thank You for any help.

I was exercising, and then all of a sudden I developed a pain in my upper right quadrant. As the months went on my breathing became affected.

I am going for Lung Function tests later this week. I'm not sure if I'll be able to complete them as I'm supposed to do them.

I do have some anxiety now, but this came about AFTER all of my problems.

I'm in New York City. I've told people that if my insurance doesn't cover a certain test, that I will pay cash for it. They all seem to turn me down without a doc's referral however. I haven't found a place yet where "money talks". I never heard of a bronchoscopy, but if yoiu have one done, please let me know what your results are. Thanks.

you sound just like me!
im surprised they havent told you its "just anxiety" or maybe they have and you just didnt say. I also had a CT of the lungs, abdomen and sinuses done last week, and i had one done a year and a half ago and i had no reaction but this time I did. My heart palpitated for about 2 mins and i felt very uncomfortable. I know its not anxiety but they kept telling me it is. My breathing has also been affected. My chest feels tight all the time,. I cant get or take deep breaths,. I usually take short quick breaths because thats all i can take. I tried doing a lung function test and it was very poor, so poor the nurse said it was hard to make an accurate reading because i could only blow out for 2 -3 seconds.  I dont know what a CT angiogram is.

I would like to have more info from you. Before all this stuff started did you do anything? did something happen? are you on any meds or were you ? are you an ex smoker?  drugs?  do u have any stress or anxiety?

I am considering doing a bronchoscopy. thats the ultimate test for the lungs, but good getting it done cuz u had so many and they all came back fine, but money talks,. so if u got it, u can get it done.

get back to me.
