Hi I've been having chest pains and shortness of breath for over three months upon exertion and chest pains in middle of night feels like chest congestion  I also show lower oxygen levels resting 93 I have had EKG, chest X-ray, ct scan with contrast and mri all said results were fine I've also had pulminary function and pulmonary stress test came back fine just low oxygen levels now I was told to see someone that I might have pulmonary hypertension and I'm freaking out how can that be????

A little medical history i have hashimotos and I had a thyroidectomy from thyroid cancer back in 2009 I take synthroid 150mcg I had my endo check levels said a little high
Just lowered meds to 125mcg could this all really be pulminary hypertension or something else

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi, please dont worry. Are there other right heart symptoms like pedal edema? They could be working you up to find out the cause for low O2 levels. Hope anemia has been ruled out. Certain systemic disorders like anemia, diabetes, vitamin deficiencies and thyroid disorders can cause these symptoms. Hope neck ultrasonography has been done. If there are problems in the bones it would have been picked up by CT scan. So, don't worry and discuss these options with your doctor. Good luck with your therapy. Regards.
