Pulmonary Hypertension

Can a low oxygen level during sleep be causing pulmonary hyprtension and if supplemental o2 is given at night will the pulmonary hypertension be cured?

I havi a sma quastion, Can a low oxygen level during sleep be causing pulmonary hyprtension but I won to add that the person also swatin  so much , and now feel disy .
whats going on please help .

I'm not certain, but I think it can cause PH.  Supplemental o2 at night may help but if you have sleep apnea causing the low level, that needs to be treated with cpap or bipap.  If you indeed have elevated pulmonary pressures, you need a right heart cath to definitively diagnosis it as echoes are only an estimate and can be WAY off.  In addition, you should see a PH specialist, not just a pulmo or cardio, who will run all sorts of tests to determine what is causing the elevated pulmonary pressures, as there are a number of things that can cause it, and it may not be low oxygen levels at all.
