can trapped gas cause soreness, sharp or stabbing type pains in chest?

Hi, i was wondering if trapped gas can cause chest soreness, chest tightness, shortness of breath, stabbing pain which is severe enough to think you are having a serious heart problem. and if the answer is yes, how does one go about solving this trapped gas problem?

I had the same similar problems.. had my endoscope early this year and doctors diagnose me with H-Pylari and gave me the correct medication even though i have visited doctors dozens of times before.. which i believed it was also caused by GERD..  Gaviscon helps temporary..

1) Feels like a heart attack
2) Numbness on my left leg and sometimes my right shoulder / neck
3) A sharp pain at the back below of my shoulder after the endoscope
4) Severe cramp while driving which cause my hand and front neck and back of my neck to felt tingling and numb
5) Anxiety and panic attack
6) No confident to drive long distance or worst stuck in a traffic jam
7) Not in the mood to walk at shopping areas
8) Found that jogging helps to relieve the pain on my back
9) Short of breath.. feels like your heart are punctured / double pumped and it will last about 5-15 minutes depending on how calm i could be..
10) Heart racing ... blood pressure shoots up
11) Shoulder felt uneasy
12) The more i read / ppl mentioning about this symtoms it will become worst
13) Avoiding death topic / movies in related to death
14) Couldn't sleep ..waking up at wee in the morning and couldnt sleep from then on
15) Keeping calm like playing mobile games on concentrating on something i like to do helps to overcome the pain and anxiety
16) Heartburn
17) Avoid stress at work
18) 24/7 burping which cause me to feel dizzy
19) Couldnt stand cold areas / room / cinema..

One of the doctor's I saw advised me to check for gall stones for this kind of excessive gas and acidity. I havent gone for the test yet but I am going to get it done first thing tomorrow morning. Maybe this helps.

Omg ... Im going throgh an attack right now. This is the 4th time in theblast year. Its the most painful thing Ive expereinced. Twice i went to the ER but they were not too much help. My pain lasts for about 3 hrs. I hope this subsides soon. Have not slept a wink tonight. My pain starts as a small upper back pain and then concentrates in the right diaphram very painful. No pain killers help. I hope i cna find a solution soon.

I'm going through exactly this been to the ER over 15 times and they called it anxiety . Gave me gerd pills etc nothing works and the numbness pins and needles ec. i even had pain in neck and jaw. so scary and it hurts because you only can sit there and take it.

I'm so glad I found you all. I have been suffering since last year from this . I have to the hospital so many times because of how scary this is and they all said that everything is normal. It would just come out of no where and have me light headed and cost pains in my chest and left sound and give me a feeling like I can't breath. Its so bad sometimes that i can hardly do anything even worst I have developed anixeity along with this. Just a horrible feeling even my left arm and neck hurts at times from this.
