I have recently been diagnosed with emphyzma. I know nothing of the disease and would like to know the causes, cures and generally an idea of the symptoms. Any help would be appreciated.

Getting a new diagnosis is very overwhelming. What did your doctor tell you regarding this diagnosis? Do you know what your lung functions are and importantly, what are you getting now for treatment?

My best advice for you is to read up about emphysema, learn as much as you can about the disease and its treatments. With this knowledge, you will be able to become the best advocate for yourself as far as treatment goes.
