face and tongue numbness sensation

Hi there has anyone else had this??

I have had tounge and facial sensations like dental anesthetic wearing off since Easter.  I also went down with a sinus infection and vertigo type feelings within a few days of this starteing.  The pressure in my head cleared up with antibiotics, still have a drip at back or throat, and also still have the face and tongue sensations.

My tongue almost tastes peppery.  But at the same time this all started I had been grating a block of henna hair colour and the fumes were really strong, it took me nearly two hours to grate it and then I sat with it on my hair for nearly two hours.   So I would have inhaled a lot of it.  But no PPD in this henna.  So not sure if maybe this has anything to do with it.

Everything happens at same time and is hard to pin point.

Really frustrated now and over 6 weeks.
Thanks for reading x

Thanks for your message, I have managed to get an appointment with a specialist next Thursday, also with dentist on Wednesday, so hopefully I might get some explanations  and tests done.

Cranial nerve, I shall look that us, sounds interesting.

Thank you again and kind regards

You should really see a doctor at this point if you haven't done so. Maybe one of your cranial nerves are to blame...I am just throwing ideas out here, so please take them as face value....especially because you have a numb sensation.
I am sure that there are other explanations..please see your doc to get the appropriate testing done. Good luck, Sunny
