low oxygen levels

Are there any medications either prescription or over the counter that can cause low oxygen levels in a persons blood?
A friend of mine was hospitalized with low O2 levels and it was questioned if she did any drugs and according to her the Drs feel it is related to the medications she is taking. I do not know what meds she is on she could also be doing illegal drugs and may be taking more of her prescription drugs then she should. I believe she is on Neurontin and poss amitryptoline/CDP and I think Ambien as I have seen empty bottles that have these meds name on them. She won't tell me anything else. I am worried about her. She has some heart problems also. I don't want to loose my friend and I am very worried that her O2 levels have dropped very low the past fe months. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Jenna

did your friend have some surgery on her heart? I had a doube bypass and they cut the nerve to my left lung and now my o2 level is low and I use oxygen 24/7 just to breath. One thing that will show what the problem could be is the sniff test. I am praying for your friend as well as you.
