Smoked Plastic by Accident

Me and my buddy made a water bottle bong, we used the middle of a plastic pen for the downstem, and aluminum foil for the bowl(stupid i know). While i was smoking it i noticed a strange taste so i dismantled the homemade bong and noticed that the top of the plastic pen (where the bowl was) was all warped with bubbles. The top of the pen had melted, and i was smoking some of the plastic fumes by accident! I now have a sore throat, it feels like my throat is burnt. This incident happened last Friday, and have been paranoid about it since. I have been drinking lots of water to attempt to detox my body from the chemicals i inhaled from the burning plastic. Should i go to the doctor or be concerned about this?

There is nothing a doctor can do about this.  Firemen are exposed to all sorts of smoke from burning materials.  They tend to take off their masks after the fire is out and they are cleaning up the fire scene, because they can't see very well with them on.  So they are exposed to a cocktail of smoke from plastics and many different materials that shouldn't be burned.  Basically it shortens their lives, but they do it repeatedly.

It can be hard for kids to live through the teenage years, trying to become independent, but not have all the wisdom they need to see ahead and predict consequences.  This lesson could help you gain a little wisdom.
