Distress : recurrent non-specific urethritis

Hi everyone, I've been dealing with an idiopathic/non-specific urethritis (NGU) for almost 2 months now. I am gay and had unprotected sex with my boyfriend since early June. Symptoms started around July 10th. My BF never experienced any symptoms.

My symptoms were mostly urethrea discomfort and penile discharge (mostly clear, sometimes cloudy in the morning, stains in my boxer). We have been both tested neg for gono/chlam, but have been re-tested and treated preventively. Second results came back negative again. Since symptoms weren't clearing out, I had a 10 days course of doxycyline : my symptoms cleared after few days, but came back 12 days after treatment ending (I had unprotected sex with my BF few days before symptoms reoccur, though). I have been tested 3 times for Mycoplasma/Ureaplasma, and re-tested for gono, everything was negative again. I had 10 days of moxyfloxacin, symptoms cleared out after 4 days. I have finished the treatment 5 days ago and restarted having unprotected sex with my BF yesterday, but I am afraid symptoms will come back. GUM's doctors wouldn't want to give my BF any treatment, since they haven't found any bacteria in cause.

- Since antibiotic are clearing up my symptoms, could it be caused by a non-specific germ that my BF could have in is anus ?

- Could it be CPPS/stress-related (I am very anxious and had a huge genitaly focused anxiety episode days before the symptoms started) ?

Thoughts ? Thanks !
