How soon

I had protected vaginal sex and unprotected oral sex (I performed on her) 2 days ago with a prostitute (stupid I know). I developed a bump in my mouth gum line today. I Have had mouth sores before, I have never thought anything about, because I never did anyhing of risk that I know of. Could this be a sign of syphilis or is it too soon. Would a Dr prescribe a treatment regiment without a positive test result? Do I have to wait 6 weeks for and accurate test?

It would be too soon for a syphilis sore to show. You could have to wait for a test, but syphilis is rare in developed countries and rare in women, not a major concern for you.

And no Dr would not treat without a positive test.
