Men don't have gonorrhea for 3 years and not know it/have serious issues.
thanks for the reply .. the internet has me depressed with fear and anxiety .. all I read is how many of these STI's are Asymptomatic and you NEVER KNOW you have it … so by that logic we can be walking around our entire lives without knowing? I have been tracing back every groin sensation I have ever had for the last 10 years and trying to play connect the dots with random experiences … so the short answer is .. if you have it .. you WILL eventually know it sooner then 3 years or even 2 years for that matter when I was last treated for "burning pee" … also is it as easy to catch orally as it is vaginally?
90+% of men show symptoms within 5 days. If not then, then within a few months they have something...not years.
Vance I can't tell you how much your correspondence means … I know I sound very uneducated .. SO if I or any guy ever contracted Chlamydia, Gonorrhea …whatever from receiving oral (whatever those odds are) .. they will Eventually know it diagnosed or not because they will feel real symptoms/ ill ? And what if you were ever on Antibiotics for normal life stuff ? Could that keep a hidden STI "at bay" without really killing it but letting it linger in the body undetected over a course of 2,3,4,5 …. years ?? I know I sound crazy but the info I'm finding on the web is making me crazy
If anything the antibiotics might cure it, but would never go that long without knowing something.
and "something" would not be vague ?? BTW … is your knowledge from personal experience or are you just involved with helping people / work in this type of field ?
And again your help is beyond appreciated
PS .. I discovered the name of the meds the doc had me on in May 2011 .. Duricef ..
Not sure what that med is. I have just gained knowledge from reading, researching and asking questions in the past.
