SCALY RASH on penile shaft/ GENERAL BODY ITCHING (face, limbs, groin, anal hole)

Hello MedHelp,

I have been concerned with an encounter I had roughly 3 weeks ago. I am a male and I initially had protected vaginal sex with a female until roughly 20 minutes later when I unfortunately realized the condom had slipped off sometime during intercourse. Roughly 2-3 days later I noticed a dry flat scaly grouped rash on the very end of my penile shaft on the right side (closest to the body). I am not sure what it was but the rash itself did not itch and did not hurt when touched unless I squeezed it. Upon healing I noticed it became hard and without looking I could feel a scab as I placed my hands into my pants even at night with the lights off. I then noticed some tingling around my groin area 2 days after and by the end of the week (7 days total) the rash had healed completely and I began to notice a general body itch everywhere involving my face, back, arms, legs and even my anal hole (but we only had vaginal sex). I still feel some tingling here and there but not as much as the beginning. The itch does not wake me up at night at all. I notice it does not itch as much or ever if I am walking, having a conversation with someone or playing sports. However, the itch is usually the worst when I wake up or when I am seated on the computer/ studying. I do not want to jump to conclusions nor do I want to downplay my symptoms which is what brought me here. Can any health professionals or people with similar symptoms who have been diagnosed and treated please provide some comments? Thank you!

You don't get ARS that quickly. There is an std forum where you can get the best info on std. If she requested the condom, perhaps she always does, in which case it is likely she has HIV, since you can't get HIV when you use a condom.
You can test 28 days after the window period from the episode ends, but until then try to relax and do not try to associate any "symptoms" with ARS because I haven't seen anyone who thought they had ArS, actually have it. Only your doctor can determine if they really are from any health issue or if it is in your imagination from fear.
The fact you notice an itch at different periods of the day suggests it is from over-analyzing your body and likely always existed but you didn't pay attention to it before.
I would go to an std clinic and discuss those concerns and take the std tests.

Thank you AnxiousNoMore. I tend to become very anxious if I become aware of anything that could disrupt my daily living but I will take your advice. When I made this post I was more worried about a possible genital herpes infection as opposed to HIV. Since those are two diff topics I would like to post my HIV concerns in another forum. Thanks again!
And apologies I thought it was 3 months (90 days) to get tested? That is what I always hear from the doctor

You can get the HIV-PCR test. It has a window period of 14 days
