red sctorum

im 30 years old and a month ago i had protected sex with a new partner. 2 weeks later i notice my scrotum is bright red. i went to the doctors office and she said it really didnt look like an std, she gave me nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide cream. it hasnt let up yet. so i went to the health department and got all the std tests they havent come back yet. but the doctor that looks at all the stds there said she didnt think it was an std either. im just wondering what this could be and how to get rid of it.

you need to use the antifungal for a full week after the rash clears. if in a week the rash isn't any better with use of the antifungal, try a different one.

sounds like jock itch/fungal infection.

how long have you been using the antifungal /steroid ointment?
