1-2 seconds of fellatio - risks?

Two days ago I received 10 seconds of protected fellatio in a massage parlor, and then the protection was removed for 1-2 seconds before I moved away and asked the lady to stop. What sort of risks are there? If yes, what should I test for and how long should I wait?

There are no real risks there. Nothing that happens for such a brief time is going to result in any transmission of an STI.

Most experts will tell you that one act of oral sex even warrants testing, and certainly not one that is just a few seconds long.

I wouldn't worry about a thing.

Thanks! It is hard not to feel anxious and become a hypochondriac.
Nothing to be anxious about. Take care. :)
So I went to a clinic (am in UK) and they said that the risk is low, but recommended testing in 3 months for guaranteed accuracy in blood results. Am now really anxious again, as I have a partner and am not sure I can tell her to wait 3 months before I can have unprotected intercourse. Am now thinking I will have to explain what happened as am too anxious to hide it for that long.... Pretty worried about everything again now :(
I have no idea why they told you that. Maybe they are trying to cover themselves, but you barely had oral sex. The oral sex you had was for a few seconds and was mostly protected.

There's no reason for this level of anxiety, or for testing for anything in 3 months. Even if someone had given you oral for 10 minutes to completion, unprotected, there wouldn't be the need for this level of anxiety.

What you are feeling is guilt. Guilt does not equal risk.

Thanks auntiejessi, this does make me feel better. I guess they can't promise zero risk, and they seemed to recommend screening for everyone, just as a good thing to do in general. I did speak to my partner who was fairly understanding, so at least that worked out okay. Will probably get tested for peace of mind, but it probably is overkill!
The risk is as close to zero as you can get without actually being zero. There was unprotected contact, so technically, there is risk. Realistically, since the unprotected contact was 1-2 seconds, so the risk is all but zero.

Yes, testing is overkill, but if you need it for peace of mind, do it. You don't need to wait 3 months, though. You can test for gonorrhea and chlamydia at 2 weeks, syphilis at 6 weeks.

You can also get genital herpes type 1 from receiving oral sex, but the blood tests aren't great, and if you already have oral hsv1, you can't get it genitally. I wouldn't bother with testing for this. The hsv1 blood test misses 30% of infections. The UK doesn't offer it much, anyway.

You aren't at risk for any of the hepatitis viruses, HIV, or anything else from oral sex, especially from 1-2 of unprotected oral sex.

Really, let it go.

Good luck.

Im from the UK. They must be using some really old guidelines.

As AJ said, the risk of anything is so close to 0%, it may as well ne 0%.

There is absolutely nothing to worry about at all!!
Thanks guys, really appreciate the feedback!
