Is 1g Ceftriaxone through IV enough to cure a gonnareah which has been untreated for 3 years ?

My doc said i have oral gonnareah which went into blood stream during my tonsilectomy is causing sore throat.joint and lymph pain,low grade fevers,skin rashes
he gave me a shot 1g Ceftriaxone through IV & told me its enough
Should i take 1g Ceftriaxone every 24 hour like for DGI
