Advenovirus NGU (ANGU)
I had unprotected oral sex and developed Urethritis about 9 days ago . Went to doctors as a precaution I was put on 100mg twice a day (7 day supply). Chalymdia and Gonherrea check came back negative. Three days ago I got pink eye and went back to the doctors. I was given drops. I am know 6 days into the dox and I still have some Urethritis. The drops haven' helped the pink eye. My symptoms appear to fit the discription of advenovisrus ngu. I am just wondering how long it will take for this clear?
What if it is adenovirus related? As I mentioned I am not seeing any results from the doxcycline and I developed pink eye that isn't responding to the drops. I am going to a urologist tomorrow so should I ask to be tested for adenovirus? I am assuming since I have developed pink I this might be a given.
