Another gonorrhea/chlamydia thread.

Had gonorrhea in the past, and was cured of it. However, stupidly I engaged in some oral sex amd symptoms reappeared. I went and got tested amd was prescribed cefixime powder and zithro. Took it, and so did my partner. Was fine for a few weeks after that, but now some discomfort has come back. VERY little discharge, if any at all. Most prominent symptom is a pain in my pelvic/genital area, some sporatic stabbing/electric shock pings in my penis and frequent urination. Since I had to buy a whole bottle of the cefixime, I took a 200mg dose three days ago. Symptoms have not improved as of yet. What could I be dealing with?

I'm considering going back to the docs and getting the shot, but for now am waiting it out and taking a lot of vitamin C, and may possibly take another dose of cefixime as it's all I have, even though I'm aware of it being ruled as ineffective nowadays.

Any/all help would be appreciated.

If the discharge is white puss that would indicate an infection. Is it white puss?

No it is clear, and very minimal. I've been monitoring it to see if it gets worse, but it really hasn't. Not more prominent in the morning, either, as I expected it to be. Could be due to taking 200mg cefixime 3 days ago.

Main symptoms are:
Dull ache, sporatic, pelvic area below waist and generally genital area
Feeling of something "passing" through urethra, penis leaking. Never actually is.
No burning, no cloudy urine. Some slight smell occasionally.
I did notice "snow globe urine" but that has subsided.
Occasional stabbing pain in penis, nerves?
Typical gastronomical response to cefixime.

Anxiety related: loss of apetite, fatigue, hypertension.

I don't think this is anxiety driven, because I do feel actual physical things happening. But it very well could be anxiety, who knows. I am in monitor mode for now.

Considering taking another 200mg or maybe even 300mg dose of cefixime. I've read it is ineffective now, but it's all I have currently. Worse comes to worst, my partner and I will have to visit doctors.
