Anyone ever had Syphilis?
I got checked 4 years ago for what I though was all STDs but they never did blood test and I think thats the way to test for Syphilis ? All clear for Chlamydia, Gonorea and Trich. But I am concerned maybe Syphilis. I read you can not know you have it till much later. Reason I ask is that I have had penile pain in left side of shaft for4 years. 3 years ago I asked doctor and he said sometimes that just happens and nothing can be done. He asked if I wanted Syphilis test but I mistakenly thought it was already done and said 'no already checked'. I have had no other visible symptoms, just constant pain in left side of willy. Would like to hear others experience with Syphilis.. and what to look for maybe?

Syphilis doesn't cause pain like this. If you think you have it, just get a test and find out, but that isn't what is causing your symptoms.
Find another doctor if you still have pain for 4 years, but it's not an STD.
