Chla/Gono Negative But tingling NGU?

Hello, first of all I am 19 straight male.  About 3 months ago i had unprotected sex with a friend for like less than half and hour.  1 months after the intercourse, I've noticed redness on my penis, it dissapeared under in like 1 day.  The thing is i'm having tingling sensation once every 2-3 weeks, and the inflammation comes back about every 2-3 weeks too.  I got tested for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea which came back negative.  This makes me feel Crazy like hell because now I'm thinking of HSV.  Every internet site says tingling sensation may be due to herpes!!!

I Only have redness and tingling sensation, no rashes, no ulcers, no bumps, no sore and no blisters on my penis, the only thing i could notice was redness around urethra and a bit inside.  I also feel a bit unconfortable in my pants when symptoms of inflammation arise.  Can you tell me what can cause this, is it a simple NGU, or I should really be worried about something worst.  I'm flipping right now stressing out googling everything and wasting time on internet trying to get information.

P.S The girl i had sex with told me she had a blood test coming up December 3rd but i haven't talk to her yet about the results

Thanks in advance!!

Everyone does not exhibit the same symptoms of herpes.  Also, many people do not know they have it because they never get an outbreak and/or the symptoms are so mild that they do not even notice.  So, is it possible?  Yes, it is possible.  But you still need to see a doctor to be tested so you know your status for sure.

Thanks Vance2335 for the quick reply!

I'd just like to know if this could be herpes even though i don,t have any signs of it, just tingling and irritation on urethra

I can barely sleep since a couple of days!

Thank you very much

I can tell you that NGU is possible, so it other non-STD related infections. But only a Dr is going to be able to tell you exactly what it is.

My advice is to stay away from the internet because you are going to find a lot of bad information and see a Dr.
