I bought a sex toy from an adult bookstore and was wondering the chances of an std. i Did not clean the toy before use but the packaging was very easy to open, i was wondering if it may have been used before? if it had can i get an std from this?

Not in healthcare. Came here several years ago with a concern of my own. Decided to give back. Started learning about STD's by reading, research and asking questions and then started to answer questions.
Anything that could get on a toy would die shortly there after and espically when dry.
Yeah I thought i was crazy, i kept reading other websites telling me this was a risk because sex toys do not have very many standards like our food
