Std question handjob with saliva

Hello. Two days ago I had an encounter with prostitute here in Italy. Woman prostitute was from Colombia. She gave me handjob and used her own saliva as lube. Nothing else happened.  When I asked about her HIV status she told to be healthy and she told to take care of herself. My question is if there was a risk for any STD including HIV? Should I test something? I have no symptoms.

I am very confused. When using Google many websites tells that saliva can transmit STD. Are they all wrong?

Do they say spread through kissing or spread by saliva?

Oral herpes can be transmitted by kissing, and syphilis might be, too, though it's unlikely that would happen. That's because of direct skin to skin contact, though, and not saliva.

If STDs were that easy to get, everyone would have one.

If you are concerned, then test. It's not my job to convince you I'm right. I just give you info, and then you can make the best decision for you.

But there was also saliva present.  Not only handjob.

There is no risk for any STD, including HIV, from handjobs.

It doesn't matter.

Saliva doesn't transmit STDs or HIV. STDs reside in the throat or are transmitted by direct skin to skin contact (oral sex, for example), and HIV requires unprotected vaginal or anal penetration.

Saliva inhibits HIV. It doesn't transmit it.

If you had a risk, I'd have told you.
Thank you. I appreciate. One more question. Why is std transmitted via sex toys if not via fingers?
In theory, STDs can be transmitted via toys, but it has to be in really specific situations. Someone would have to use the toy in a certain way and then immediately use it on someone else, or have someone else use it.

It's more likely to happen if someone has an open sore that has fluid than in other situations. It's not all that likely even then.

It's important to clean sex toys, but other things, like mold, can grow on or in them if they aren't cleaned that can cause problems for you.
