correct - bacteria is the cause of ngu though also some viruses can cause it.
ok ty very much but 1 last question. will a normal urinalysis for uti also test for ngu? since i had no bacteria present, does that mean there is no ngu at all? i know you said the medication i took would have gotten rid of it but just in case. i would follow up with my urologist btw.
definitely follow up with an urologist at this point. a std isn't going to give you the symptoms you have.
well not yet but i hardly doubt that i have a kidney stone since i do not feel any pain in my back at all but they asked me to get a ultra sound but im pretty sure its gonna be stone free. do you recommend me in getting a std check up? since i never did but took the medications anyway?
i believe there is something wrong with my urethra though as if there is something stuck inside which is triggering the frequent urination. what is the best way to get my urethra checked up from the inside? will a ultra sound do? thanks grace, for helping me. i appreciate it, god bless you.
they wouldn't cause symptoms for this long. it's not likely to be ngu with all the treatment you've had either.
have they ruled out kidney stones too?
ok, thanks grace but i have 1 question. could this be NGU? since all these symptoms appeared the next day after my sexual encounter, i believe it is the one to blame for this symptoms. from my uti check up, they found no signs of bacteria so can i cancel out suspicion on NGU? and also trichomoniasis? thanks grace, your help is much appreciated.
this isn't a std causing your symptoms. continue to follow up on symptoms with your urologists to try to figure out what is going on.
I removed your other post since it was the same questions.
