Chlamydia??? Concerned

Hello,

I am concerned, I went to the doctor yesterday with what I thought might be a very mild uti (I feel urinary urgency, no burning or pain or discharge etc..) but the test was negative. So the doctor suggested to do a urine test for gono and chlamydia.

In the last 2 months (since my last test January 3, routine annual gyno) I have had condom protected sex with two partners, both about a month ago, the condom did not break or come off at any time.

I have two questions, 1) If I do have chlamdyia and have protected sex with my partner this weekend, will I give it to him? and 2) Is it likely that this is an std even though I have been having protected sex? I thought condoms worked for bacterial stds?

thanks

Hi since the condom would prevent anything from entering your vaginal area including your urethra you could not get chlamydia or gono.
