UTI, alcohol allergy? Help

For about 2 months I have had a burning sensation in my urethra on and off which seems to be worse after I pee.  I have a feeling it happens after the weekend where I drink once or twice. This sensation will last a couple of days then jus disappear then come back again! I do not have a STD since I got checked recently and have not had intercourse in a long time. Could this be a UTI or alcohol causing this burning. It's very uncomfortable and I'm going insane

Maybe don't check for the usual STDs. Check for UTI and NGU. Do you drink a lot of water?
