Can trich cause PID?

I was diagnosed with Trich 3 months ago and was treated with Flagyl for 7 days 2 times a day. I then was treated do a m. Hominis infection with azithromycin. My gyno also treated me with another dose of metro to take all at once to make sure the trich was gone. Since then I had cramps in lower abdomen. I later found out that it was an UTI.  I was given macrobid but it did not work. I was then given a long dosage of Cipro and I feel much better but the cramps are somewhat there. I believe I have pid. I tested negative for chlamydia and Gonnerrhea and all other stds.
