I too have the same similar issue. I went outside my marriage and now I have all these symptoms and more. I too tested negative for both but only after taking a round of zithro and some doxy. I was given a shot of ceftiaxone 125m injection to cover GO but test still came back neg. Now whatever it is I have I feel urethral irritation, testicular pain and sore lymph nodes along with sensativity in my groin area. Urologist says its prostatitis and had me on cipro and septra. I believe whatever I have I have now passed to my wife because everytime we have sex I feel do much pain in my inner thigh, groin and testicles in as little as 24-48 hours afterwards. Also feels like discharge is there but non ever comes out. Another note to add, I took another test for both Chl/GO and both came back neg again. Also the person in question also says she took tests and they came back negative. How did this prostatitis just come out of no where. Don't know where to go next. Any ideas?

you can repeat your urine testing in a few weeks as well as make sure a prostate exam is done on you.

also avoid caffeine and spicy foods too as they can add to discomfort.

I'd also consider something  like culturelle too 2x/day ( you can buy it online or at walmart/target and most drug stores ). it replaces the 'good' bacteria that all those antibiotics have killed off in your bowels so that you don't end up with even more issues from so many antibiotics!  we use it in the hospital even the research behind it is so good!  It won't help with your genital issues but it will help to keep your bowels healthy which is more important than most folks realize :)

Well your just taking medication with no confirmed tests for anything. I don't know what to test for at this point, but throwing medication at the issue is not always the right thing to do.

Vance what test should I take? GO and Chla from what you said above aren’t an issue and everyone tells me that accurate testing for trich in men isn’t available...

Stop all medication for 2 weeks and have proper testing done.

I know it sounds crazy, but there are really only two things that I know for sure. I am in pain and it started days after I had a risky encounter with someone other than my wife and I have never ever had anything like this go on before. And no this is not all in my head. The test that I have taken in respect to GO and Chla were taken like two days after I got off Ammoxicilian which I now read could cause false negatives. All that aside I know that I have been over medicated for GO and Chla and those should not concern me anymore, trich is another story... I have been to two diffrent urologist prob 10 times and all they want to do is keep putting me on antibiotics. No one has a clue anymore....

Thanks for the help anymore advise you have would be appreciated.

you've taken multiple medications with having not a single + test result for any std??? this really is not in your best interest to be honest.

follow up with an urologist if you have symptoms still at this point.

Well today I went back in and was given a 1000mg inj of Ceftriaxone "because I bs'ed the dock just in case, so that I am sure to have all my bases covered" and I am still taking the  Tindamax for possible trich "although I have already ran a course of Metronidazole" and will be for the next 7 days.

Thanks Vance!
Any additional info would be appreciated.

All this medication surly would have cured gonorrhea, NGU and chlamydia.

How long have you been finished with the medication?
