Chlamydia symptoms returning?

Hi all,  I will make this quick. Around Jan 2 I had sex with a girl who wasnt my girlfriend. Around Jan 8th I noticed a urethral drip and pain while peeing so I went to the doctor got tested and it was Chlamydia (i tested for Gonorrhea too and it was negative). I took 1000mg of azithromycin and the majority of the symptoms went away except there would be a tiny drip, much smaller than before, and some pain while peeing first thing after i wake up.  This up to 10 days after I took the antibiotics. After I got my results my girlfriend went to the doctor too and she received the same treatment (1000mg of azithromycin). She took her pill the day after I did. We had sex together, unprotected, about 5 days after that.

So after about a week of having this pain and drip in the morning I got on this forum and found some advice that maybe I was "milking" my urethra too much checking for symptoms which caused irritation which caused the tiny singular drip in the morning.  I was doing it very often so I tried to stop.  A couple days later around January 18th I was completely symptom-less.

Fast forward to yesterday, Feb 6, and I got it in my head again that I am feeling a tingle. I "milked" myself a lot yesterday and found 0 discharge but I continued to check very often.  I even woke up in the middle of the night and checked around 3 AM.  Nothing.  Then I woke up for work at 5... and there it was. The same type of singular drop from before, but no pain while peeing. It has been 2 hours since and I am freaking out. I haven't left for work yet because I've been checking.   My girlfriend is symptom-less and took the azithromycin the day after I did. I have only had sex with her a few times since, most recently about 5 days ago

Could this be a recurrence of Chlamydia?  Could it be from irritation?  Could it be something else?

Thanks

Hi All, just an update. I havent had any symptoms since yesterday morning. I checked again this morning and did notice that the lighting in my bathroom might make the natural fluids inside my urethra look white. Its a stupid mistake but I'm going to keep this question up in case anybody else comes across a similar problem. In summary: Lay off yourself. Dont try to milk it you might irritate it more. If you truly have something to worry about it will show regardless

How often did the discharge come about (and in what quantities) before you started taking medication, compared to how often now?
