Chlamydia / trichomoniasis Question Please help Mee..

Okay so about a year ago I had sex with my ex bf of 3 years we didn't use protection... this was last oct. Around march I believe I started to develope bad symptoms like yellow discharge bleeding and just all over pain down there... I was too freaked out to check myself :/ but finally went in Aug. I tested positive for chlamydia and the doc. Prescribed me zithromax I took the medicine symptoms got better but never went away. Like the ******* I am I had sex with that ex in sept. But we used a condom. And then I started getting symptoms again. So I knew I still had it went to the clinic and got retested. But when i went in for my results they said I tested neg. And didn't have it anymore? How is this possible if I still have symptoms... well I went to retest again today and the doc checked my discharge and said it wasn't chlamydia she said that it might be trichomoniasis. And prescribed me medicine for that... so my question is...  Is it possibel to test the same for chlamydia and trich or was it trich all along? I'm just so mad and confused I'm only 19 I just want it to go away. And the clinic doesn't seem to care as much..if anyone can give me some info pleasee please let me know? I start treatment for trich tom. Hopefully this is it. And also should I ask for a pap?

i agree with vance, i had a similar situation. sometimes trich takes a while to present itself, its also often overlooked. finish the medication and have your partners treated, i know from experience, this serves as a lesson. do not have sex with anyone you have sex with previously, you may become reinfected.

I doubt that it was Trich all along. You probably did have chlymida but also picked up Trich. Trich doesn't have to show symptoms for a long time.

A full STD panel would not be a bad idea.

And make sure to use condoms.
